From The Principal
Greetings and welcome to St. Margaret's Elementary School! Here at St. Margaret's we place an emphasis on educating the whole child; mind, heart and spirit. Children will be challenged academically, taught empathy through service learning and be filled with the Holy Spirit through active participation in the liturgy.
I retired in January 2016 after 16 years as Principal at Parish Elementary School and then Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (APW) Elementary School in the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown School District. During my career I also served as Assistant Principal at Ray Middle School (Baldwinsville), Central Square Middle School and Solvay High School. Upon retiring, I worked as a consultant for Oswego County BOCES, was an Adjunct Professor at LeMoyne College and worked as Interim Principal for school districts. It was while I was serving as Interim Principal at Otselic Valley Central School that I realized just how much I missed being around teaching and learning so when I saw the posting for Principal at St. Margaret's School I applied.
I live in Marcellus with my wife Kim, and sons Max and Jack. I serve on the Marcellus School Board and am a lector at St. Francis Xavier in Marcellus. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, running and traveling.
I invite you to stop in and visit our school. You will not be disappointed.
May God Bless,
