Spanish: Mrs. Needham
Bienvenido! Welcome to la clase de Espanol! Mrs. Needham is very excited about teaching Spanish at St. Margaret’s. She is a fluent Spanish speaker who was raised in a Spanish home learning both English and Spanish simultaneously. She attended Saint Thomas Aquinas College where she studied Elementary Education with a concentration in Spanish. She has been teaching Spanish to students of all ages from age 3 to 14 over the last 10 years. Mrs. Needham’s goal is to have the students develop a positive attitude and excitement towards learning the Spanish language. Students will start every Spanish class by praying the Hail Mary in Spanish to start the class off on a positive, faith filled experience. Students will work on expanding their basic vocabulary and communication skills throughout interactive videos and skits. Cultural knowledge is expanded upon through readings, videos, personal experiences and comparisons. Mrs. Needham looks forward to teaching the students of St. Margaret’s School and helping them to discover the wonderful world of lanugage!
